FBI Investigating Judge Who Sent Rapper Meek Mill to Prison....

The FBI has launched an investigation into the relationship between a rival Philadelphia music executive and the judge who sent rapper Meek Mill to prison for violating his probation. Last Monday, Judge Genece Brinkley sentenced Mill to 2-4 years in prison following 2 arrests this year on misdemeanor charges. Both charges were dropped but Brinkley said the arrests violated the terms of his probation. The Philadelphia FBI field office is reportedly investigating Brinkley’s relationship with local music executive, Charlie Mack, who allegedly asked Mill to sign with him. The FBI wants to know if Brinkley, 61, used her power and influence as a judge to facilitate business deals for Mack. A source tells the NY Post Mack had previously told Meek how he “knows the judge and he could help him with his case.” The Daily Mail Online reports undercover FBI agents were in the courtroom when Judge Brinkley sent Mill to prison. After she sentenced Mill to prison, she reportedly said, “I’ll be done with you.” According to Mill’s attorney Joe Pacopina, Brinkley met with Mill, 30, and his ex-girlfriend Nicki Minaj, 34, in her judge’s chambers and asked him to record a Boyz II Men song and give her a shout out on the track. When Mill laughed off her bizarre request, she allegedly replied, “suit yourself.” Brinkley also allegedly asked the troubled rapper to leave his current management company — Roc Nation — and sign with Mack. A rep for the FBI’s Philadelphia field office refused to confirm or deny the reports. “Per Justice Department policy, we neither confirm nor deny the existence of investigations.” A petition calling for Pennsylvania Governor Tom Wolf to pardon Mill has collected over 300,000 signatures. But the governor’s office said his hands are tied by local law. In February 2016 Brinkley sentenced the rapper to 90 days of house arrest over another violation stemming from his 2008 arrest on drugs and gun charges. He was also ordered to perform daily community service and was placed on parole for a further six years for a total of 10 years. Mill is serving out his sentence at the state prison at Camp Hill, near Harrisburg, Pa., where he is known simply as inmate # ND8400.

NICKI MINAJ ADDRESSES THE ‘CONSPIRACY THEORIES’ ABOUT CARDI B AND ‘MOTOR SPORT’

Nicki Minaj and Cardi B linked up for their first collaboration last week, with Migos’s “Motor Sport,” and it only took about 60 seconds before conspiracy theories started spreading like wildfire. Some fans and outlets have claimed that the two rappers didn’t know the other would be on the track, and others have even suggested that they were taking shots at each other with their respective verses. Nicki’s apparently fed up with all that talk, so she hopped on Twitter on Tuesday night (October 31) to set the record straight. “I was on the song w/Quavo. No one else was on it,” she began in a series of tweets. “He called & asked if I think we should put Bardi on it, I said ‘ok let’s do it.’ The end. Migos weren’t even on it yet. Just Quavo. The conspiracy theories r just so tired. Relax. Breathe.” Nicki went on to clarify that any published music has to get her written approval before being sent to streaming services. With that in mind, Nicki and Cardi would’ve both heard the track and spoken up if they had a problem with it. She continued, “These are men in our culture who simply refuse to let it go. They don’t do this to male M.C.’s. But yo #Motorsport #1 added on urban radio🙏🏽.” The “it” in question is the fabricated beef between Nicki and Cardi, which people have been talking about ever since “Bodak Yellow” started climbing the charts, despite both rappers publicly showing support for one another. In fact, Nicki capped off her series of tweets by reiterating Cardi’s thoughts on the issue from a recent interview: “We could make out & it wouldn’t be enough. I’m done.”

Cable Networks In Bidding War Over Who Will Air Cardi B And Offset’s Wedding!

TV weddings have guaranteed high ratings for networks everywhere. From Kim and Khloe Kardashian’s elaborate wedding specials to their now exes to the most recently talked about all-white knot-tying ceremony of Keyshia Ka’oir to Gucci Mane — Viewers tuned in making massive numbers. Now that the new hip-hop royalty couple, Cardi B and Offset, have announced their plans to marry — BET and VH1 are in competition to make a deal with them. Cardi B started out as a social media star who went from making popular videos on Instagram to completing two seasons of “Love and Hip Hop: New York.” After leaving the show, she went on to sign a record deal and top charts with “Bodak Yellow.” Offset, on the other hand, doesn’t have a TV background at all. The member of number one rap group Migos is currently busy with preparing for the release of their new album, that features Cardi B, titled “Culture 2.” When the “Bad and Boujee” musician proposed in front of thousands at Powerhouse, stans of the couple went crazy. In true internet culture, a Twitter user thought up a name for a wedding special to be titled “Never Let Migo.” Meanwhile #BET and #VH1 are bout to have a bidding war over who gets to produce #CardiB and #Offsets wedding 😜 Cardi is having the BEST year ever, all thanks to Je-ZUS as she says it 😂💕 #TeaTENDERS via @bardiset.page A post shared by TeaTENDERS_LIV (@teatenders_liv) on Oct 29, 2017 at 12:20am PDT When The Shade Room posted a screenshot of the idea the BET Instagram account commented: “@iamcardib @offsetyrn – #wegotyou when you ready!” “Love and Hip Hop” mastermind, Mona Scott Young, fired back with her own proposal stating: “Love ya @BET but $wegotthis. #anothercheckfrommonascott @vh1 #4evah!” It looks like the two networks are going head-to-head to see who can air the next most anticipated celebrity wedding! Naturally, you would expect the couple to choose VH1 since that’s where Cardi got her big break; however, she left the series because of how the producers were portraying her meaning that there could possibly be bad blood between Cardi and the channel. On the other hand, since this special would be surrounding the couple, it would mean that the rap songstress would be able to play executive producer and have things the way that she wants it so VH1 still has a fighting chance to be chosen. No one even knows if Cardi and Offset even want to air their vows, but if they chose to it would be a brilliant financial move. They could choose for it to be a one-time thing or follow in the footsteps of Keyshia and Gucci and make their own spin-off series.

WATCH VIDEO: RZA admits Russell Crowe spat at Azealia Banks.....

A huge shift from his original statement about the 2016 confrontation...... Last year, Azealia Banks accused Russell Crowe of assaulting her. The singer said that Crowe spat on her, called her the n-word, choked her and threw her out of his hotel suite. RZA, who had accompanied Banks to the party, claimed she was lying, releasing a statement that denied her claims and called her an “obnoxious erratic individual”. A recent interview with the Wu-Tang producer on the Breakfast Club sees RZA tell a different story now though. “He spit at her. I saw that,” RZA admitted when probed about the incident. “Did you check him at that point? That’s a white dude spitting on a black woman,” host Charlamagne tha God asked. RZA then attempted to explain the spit wad wasn’t big, and landed near Banks rather than on her. He added that Crowe apologised to him – no word on an apology to Banks though. At the time, the actor claimed he removed the “212” actor from his party after she threatened to cut other guests’ throats. The case was dropped by the Los Angeles District Attorney’s office in December. “UNTIL HE IS READY TO APOLOGIZE (TO ME) PUBLICLY, HE CAN GO BACK TO SUCKING RUSSELL CROWE’S DICK FOR INVITES TO HOLLYWOOD PARTIES,” she wrote in response on Instagram. “Nobody understands how badly I wanted to die the moment RZA LIED and told the world I deserved to be spat (at). People laughed at me and said I lied.” RZA is currently on the promo circuit for the latest Wu-Tang album and his film Love Beats Rhymes, starring Banks in her acting debut. What we should take with this, among the host of other experiences shared by women – and of utmost importance here, women of colour – is that we should believe women. Don't gaslight them. Out abusers. Show solidarity with survivors. Watch the full interview with RZA below.

Azealia Banks Apologizes To Nicki Minaj........

Someone better check the temperature in Hell, because Azealia Banks actually apologized to Nicki Minaj. She said she was sorry for trashing Nicki, and Ms. Minaj’s response left Azealia in tears! “Hey, I’m not sure if you will see this but I want to apologize for whatever catty shit I’ve said to and or about you in the past,” Azealia Banks, 26, said at the start of her lengthy apology letter to Nicki Minaj, 34. Azealia shared the text conversation with her fans on Sep. 29, posting her heartfelt letter to Nicki to her Instagram account. “I really do enjoy your artistry and think you’re so intelligent and clever. You have a really brilliant art mind and often times remind me a lot of myself.” “Now that I’m growing up I’m realizing a lot about what it means to be a strong woman and you’ve showed nothing but strength and perseverance from day one. You deserve that Grammy. You deserve a rich Russian billionaire to sweep you off your feet so you never have to consort with these dingy n**** in hip-hop again.” Azealia went on to say that her working with Nicki’s ex, Safaree Samuels, 36, was nothing personal – it was just strictly business. Ultimately, this heartfelt (and admittedly, uncharacteristically kind) response was ended with Azealia promising to “never say anything negative or catty things about you ever again.” “You’re very talented [and] very smart,” Nicki wrote in response. “Focus on what really matters from now on.” Though it was short and too the point, Ms. Minaj’s reply gave Azealia all the feels. “Not gonna lie, I cried a bit when she responded,” Ms. Banks captioned this IG post, adding the hashtag #femalerapforthemotherf*ckingwin Not gonna lie, I cried a bit when she responded. ❤️❤️❤️❤️ @nickiminaj #laguardiahighschool #femalerapforthemotherfuckingwin A post shared by Azealia Banks (@azealiabanks) on Sep 28, 2017 at 9:55pm PDT And with this, one of the fiercest beefs in rap’s recent history was ended. Azealia picked a fight with Nicki back in 2016, tearing into the “Super Bass” rapper’s looks in a now-deleted Facebook rant, according to Pedestrian TV. “McDonald’s sells a lot of burgers but no one is telling McDonald’s that they’re the pinnacle of cuisine and taste. This is true of you,” Azealia wrote. Damn. That was cruel — hilarious, but cruel. Now, this isn’t the first time Azealia has apologized to someone, as she said she was sorry to Zayn Malik, 24, after dragging the former One Direction singer in an ugly rant. Now, if Azealia can call a truce between her and Cardi B, 24, who Ms. Banks actually called the “poor man’s Nicki Minaj.” Sigh. One of Azealia’s feuds end and another begins. What do you think about Azealia’s apology to Nicki Minaj, HollywoodLifers? Are you shook? Are you stunned? Do you think these two have buried the hatchet for good?

MAC Cosmetics Has Huge News For Nicki Minaj Fans....

If there’s one celebrity we can always count on to deliver the full-blown glam, it’s Nicki Minaj..... The rapper is known for regularly stepping out with a dramatic cat-eye, bold hairstyle, and brightly colored lipstick, which is what made her partnership with MAC Cosmetics back in 2012 so fitting. (If you recall, the lavender lipstick she created went toward the brand's Viva Glam foundation.) Now, Minaj is back at it again with a brand-new MAC collab — but this time, she's baring all. The collection of two lipsticks — which includes “Nicki’s Nude,” a beige with coral undertones, and “The Pinkprint,” a creamy pink-nude — will be hitting stores in September. And since MAC's nude shades, like Creme d’Nude and Myth, already have a cult following, you know these two colors are going to be killer. But the collaboration doesn’t stop there: Minaj took to Instagram to share even more news of the partnership. “Can’t wait to reveal this exciting news I'm working on for 2018!!!” she wrote in the caption. “It’s a first of its kind partnership for me and the OG M·A·C.” She also shared a sneak peek of the new products.

NICKI MINAJ CALLS OUT THE FASHION INDUSTRY FOR APPROPRIATING BLACK CULTURE

"Designers get really big and really rich off of our culture." Nicki Minaj has been making her usual rounds at  this season, sitting front row and joining the party circuit, but that doesn't mean she'll refrain from pointing out the fashion world's flaws. After attending the Philipp Plein Spring 2018 show on Saturday, the superstar rapper took a dig at the industry during the designer's afterparty. "Thank you Philipp Plein for including our culture," she said, according The Cut. "Designers get really big and really rich off of our culture, and then you don’t see a motherfucker that look anything like us in the front row half the time. So let’s make some noise for Philipp Plein tonight." Minaj sat front row for Plein's cabaret-themed show. Other notable attendees included 50 Cent, Fabolous, EJ Johnson and Yo Gotti, who performed with Nicki at the afterparty. The show also featured a diverse cast of models, with celebrities like Rae Sremmurd, 21 Savage, Metro Boomin and Snoop Dogg's son Cordell Broadus gracing the runway with Adriana Lima, Irina Shayk, Jasmine Sanders, Elsa Hosk and Shanina Shaik. Teyana Taylor closed the show with another fierce walk and Future performed live during the presentation.

NICKI MINAJ IS A GLITTERY GODDESS IN NEW "YOU DA BADDEST" VIDEO WITH FUTURE
