Bill Cosby Begs Wife: Get Me Out of Prison Before I Die In Here!

As you've likely heard by now, Bill Cosby was sentenced to 3-10 years in prison yesterday after being convicted of sexually assaulting Andrea Constand... The disgraced comedy legend was handcuffed and taken into custody shortly after the judge delivered his sentence. It's been less than 24 hours since he was imprisoned, but already, Cosby's booking photo has become a viral sensation, and reports about his first day behind bars are being gleefully shared on every social media platform. (A report from TMZ that Cosby's first meal will include Jell-O has proven particularly popular.) Naturally, Cosby took advantage of his first opportunity to place a phone call, and insiders confirm that he contacted his wife of 54 years, Camille Cosby. Now, a new report Radar Online claims that Cosby spent most of his time on the phone imploring Camille to do everything in her power to get him out of jail. "They took my cane, tie and shoelaces because they think I will harm myself,” Cosby reportedly told his wife. A witness who listened in on the call, says Cosby complained about the conditions and led his wife to believe he was in immediate physical danger: "He said he had a stale hotdog bun thrown at him and he fell down a few steps because he wasn’t being guided,” the source recalls. “He told Camille, ‘Grab the checkbook and hire anyone and everyone’ who could get him out as soon as possible." Obviously, as a lifelong serial rapist, Cosby is deserving of absolutely zero sympathy. But if the idea of a mostly-blind 81-year-old grandfather living out what might be his final years in state prison strikes you as tragically pathetic, fear not. Life is easier for rich people everywhere -- including prison. Cosby will likely serve his sentence in a relatively cushy facility for "low risk" inmates, and a team of lawyers will descend on the place every time a guard so much as looks at him askance. Fortunately, his treasured "legacy" has been thoroughly decimated, and Cosby's many victims can hopefully rest easier knowing justice has somewhat been served. And with any luck, Camille Cosby will soon see the value in being free of her monstrous husband.

How Kanye West is becoming a billionaire two years after asking Mark Zuckerberg for $53 million to pay off his debt

Kanye West is reportedly a member of the ‘three-comma’ club, joining the ranks of sister-in-law Kylie Jenner... Kanye West could be the next billionaire... West’s apparel brand Yeezy, a partnership with Adidas, is said to be valued at close to $1.5 billion, The Blast reported. The 41-year-old rapper and fashion mogul partnered with Adidas in 2013 to launch his clothing and sneaker line, Yeezy — and since he’s a majority stakeholder, his personal net worth has reportedly also reached around a billion dollars. The “Fade” rapper, who debuted his new album “Ye” in June, dropped new Yeezy merch upon the release, including a line of T-shirts and hoodies that retailed for $65 to $145. He sold $500,000 worth of merch in just 30 minutes, his former manager Scooter Braun revealed at the album listening party in Wyoming. West’s wife, reality-star entrepreneur Kim Kardashian West, hinted to fans last week during an appearance on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” that her husband would soon reach billionaire status. When asked if she was “almost a billionaire,” the “Keeping Up With The Kardashians” star replied, “I would say my husband is, so that makes me one right? Close by proximity.” Kardashian, meanwhile, is valued at $300 million, with television deals, her namesake cosmetics company, a video game and an emoji app. News of West’s net worth skyrocketing comes just two years after he revealed he was in financial trouble. The musician tweeted in 2016 that he was in $53 million in personal debt and asked for help from Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg: “Mark Zuckerberg invest 1 billion dollars into Kanye West ideas,” he wrote. Zuckerberg didn’t respond to the plea. West also seems to be keeping up with his sister-in-law Kylie Jenner, 21, who covered the July issue of Forbes magazine as the youngest self-made billionaire with a reported net worth of $900 million. The outspoken rapper has received his fair share of criticism for his fashion line. In 2016, media skewered his “Yeezy Season 4” fashion show after they were bussed out for a viewing on New York City’s Roosevelt Island during a show started nearly two hours late. Days later while performing at Harper’s Bazaar Icons ball, he gave the fashion crowd the finger during a performance before dropping the mic. The Chicago native predicted his massive fortune earlier this year. “We have 160 positions to fill by the end of the year,” he tweeted. “Yeezy will hit a billion dollars this year. It is the 2nd fastest growing company in history. It is a unicorn on its way to becoming a decacorn.”

OH NO! ‘4:44’ No More? Jay-Z May Be Forced To Cancel Upcoming Global Tour

And the federal government may be to blame. Jay-Z‘s upcoming global concert tour is in real danger of being derailed. And it may all be due to the federal government. The Securities and Exchange Commission wants to have a chat with the rapper concerning an investigation into his clothing line, but his lawyers say demands for “unlimited” testimony by the star amount to a “celebrity hunt.” Jay-Z, whose real name is Shawn Carter, has been called to testify in the SEC’s case against Iconix brand management company, which bought the trademarks to the singer’s Rocawear clothing line for $200 million. Their investigation centers on potential securities law violations by Iconix, which manages and licenses clothing brands while maintaining little overhead from inventory. Jay-Z has already agreed to testify for a full day before the regulatory agency, even though he claims to have little information about the investigation’s focus. But his attorneys argue that requiring unlimited questioning places “unreasonable and burdensome demands” on Beyonce’s husband, as he prepares for a 45-date, world-wide concert tour promoting his 4:44 album. “The SEC continues to insist on meeting Mr. Carter in person for an unlimited period of time,” attorney Alex Spiro argued in a Monday court filing. “The upshot imposes unreasonable burdens on Mr. Carter and raises serious questions about whether this exercise has transcended any investigative purpose and crossed over into a celebrity hunt.” In a statement filed with the legal memo, Jay-Z stated that rushing to testify at the SEC’s Washington, D.C. headquarters on May 11 would “impair the work of many individuals and entities who are preparing for the tour and will hinder my own work in preparation for the tour.” SEC attorneys are scheduled to file a response on Tuesday, hours before a scheduled hearing on the matter in Manhattan federal court.

Meek Mill Says Jay-Z Quietly Spent Millions On His Legal Fees

After spending five months in prison for a controversial probation violation, Philadelphia rapper Meek Mill has spent the past two weeks getting his head together and speaking out about the injustices in the criminal justice system... So far he’s been on a media blitz, sitting down with NBC’s Lester Holt, veteran broadcaster, Angie Martinez, CNN, CBS This Morning, and now New York’s popular morning show, The Breakfast Club. During his Breakfast Club interview, Meek said that he feels a responsibility to speak out about the inequalities in the justice system because of the support he received throughout his ordeal. “I’m just reaching back the same way people supported me,” he said. “I know a lot of people were supporters of my music, but when it came to real life...people standing outside in the rain, protesting and actually being a part of helping me get back on these streets, I felt like I’m entitled to give back.”   Throughout his imprisonment, one of Meek Mill’s biggest supporters was rapper Jay-Z. While Meek is signed to Jay-Z’s artist management company, Roc Nation, Jay-Z’s support extended beyond exclaiming, “Free Meek!” in the media. Jay not only wrote a passionate op-ed for The New York Times about Mill’s unjust imprisonment but, according to the Philly rapper, Jigga also spent millions of dollars helping him get free. “JAY-Z is actually responsible for some of my legal fees, which I thought was the dopest in the world because it was some millions of dollars. I don’t even think I could have afforded it,” Mill admitted, though he said he was still able to take care of his family while he was locked up. Jay wasn’t the only one in the Carter household supporting Meek’s cause, Beyonce was also on board. On DJ Khaled’s song, “Top Off,” she shouted out the rapper. Meek Mill Says He’s grateful For the Support Jay Z & Beyonce Showed Him When He was Locked Up.  “I played that joint back. I was like ‘I know Beyoncé ain’t say no sh-t like this out of her mouth.’ I had to play it back again,” he said. “Then I heard her say ‘I’m in the hood screaming Free Meek’ ... That’s mega support—from Beyoncé and Jay-Z—because they don’t have to say it. You know Beyoncé ain’t shoutin’ no n----s out in jail.” As Meek readjusts to life on the outside and eases back into music, he also said he won’t forget about the people who are incarcerated who do not have the means to get out. Instead, he’s going to partner with some of his powerful new friends to advocate for those behind the wall. “I’m trying to use my platform and my voice,” he explained. “We’re in the process of starting an organization now. It’s going to be big.”

Rihanna Says Her Met Dress Was So Heavy That 'Every Step Was a Squat' and She 'Gained in Her Butt'

The elaborate ensemble was so heavy, the star even considered a different option from Maison Margiela instead, but ultimately couldn’t part ways with the jaw-dropping look... “I had another option that was a lot more simple, same Margiela, but I felt like it was an insult to the people who sat there and like, hand beaded that entire thing, to just say, ‘No, put that in the archives,” she said. “It was so great, I couldn’t deny it.” And fans couldn’t have been happier that Rihanna went with her Papal-inspired look. The second the star hit the red carpet on Monday night, Twitter blew up with praise for her opulent attire. “Rihanna has owned this theme #MetGala,” one fan tweeted. Another said, “Seriously – every single thing about this is GORGEOUS. Rihanna KILLED IT #MetGala.”

MTV VMAs Returning To Radio City Music Hall For 2018 Show On August 20

The 2018 Video Music Awards show is headed back to where it all began. MTV said today that the 35th annual VMAs will be held August 20 at Radio City Music Hall in Manhattan — the site of its first two trophy shows in the mid-1980s.... The show has hopscotched coasts nearly every year since playing Las Vegas in 2007, and last year’s ceremony was held at the Forum near Los Angeles. It will mark the 12th VMAs for Radio City, the most of any venue. It most recently hosted the show in 2009. Officials said there will be a street renaming and symbolic “moon landing” on Manhattan’s Avenue of the Americas, under the marquee of the 87-year-old landmark venue. “New York City’s creative energy has always fueled those who live and work here,” NYC Mayor Bill de Blasio said. “This is where music, film, and art collide and where the Video Music Awards were born.”

Nicki Minaj Announces New Songs “Barbie Tingz” and “Chun-Li” Dropping Thursday...

Earlier today (April 10), Nicki Minaj finally gave her fans the announcement they have been waiting for so patiently: new music is coming, and they only need to wait a few days before they finally get to hear what she's been cooking up in the studio.... The hip-hop superstar tweeted two single covers for songs titled “Barbie Tingz” and “Chun Li,” giving the impression that she’s not planning on pushing one single, but two at the same time, which is a strategy that some of the biggest names in the music business have made work before. The tracks are set to debut on Thursday afternoon, though it's not clear if they're coming with videos or if they'll only be available as audio files on streaming platforms and digital download stores. While the release of any new single (or singles) is typically a sign that a new album is on the way, that’s not necessarily the case with Minaj. Last year, the most successful female rapper of all time dropped three songs simultaneously—“No Frauds (ft. Drake and Lil Wayne),” “Changed It (ft. Lil Wayne)” and the solo “Regret in Your Tears”—and at the time, many of her fans assumed that a full-length was right around the corner. By that point, it had been about two and a half years since the release of her last album, 2014’s The Pinkprint, and judging on how quickly many rappers release projects these days and the amount of time that had elapsed between her albums previously, an album being on the horizon made sense. It is now one year later, and not only has no album has materialized, she hasn’t even announced one. At this point, her last proper record was three and a half years ago, which is a long time for her to go without a proper full-length. She’s certainly been working on one, and two big bangers would be a great way to kick things off and begin what could be another long promotional campaign that sees her chart many new hits. When both “Chun Li” and “Barbie Tingz” arrive on Thursday afternoon, her fans will surely stream them repetitively, and both are bound to place on the Hot 100 singles tally a week or two after they first appear, but will more music follow, or are these meant to tide people over while she continues to craft her fourth album? Hopefully, she’s ready to begin a new era, because if not, there are millions of diehard Minaj fans who may be disappointed.
