STEVE HARVEY’S TALK SHOW CANCELED; REPLACED BY ‘THE KELLY CLARKSON SHOW’

*Steve Harvey just lost his long-running talk show at NBC to pop star Kelly Clarkson... The former ‘American Idol’ winner and ‘The Voice’ coach will be launching her very own talk show, ‘The Kelly Clarkson Show’ this fall — and it’ll take over Steve’s slot after seven seasons. “The incomparable Kelly Clarkson takes everything she touches to another level and we couldn’t be happier to bring her talent, humor, generosity and compassion to daytime next year,” said Paul Telegdy, President, Alternative & Reality Group, NBC Entertainment. “With Kelly’s cross-generational appeal and extraordinary ability to understand and connect with viewers, The Kelly Clarkson Show will have something for everyone.” The new daytime talker starring Grammy-winner Clarkson is described as a fun, energetic show that breaks with tradition. Each episode will feature stories, celebrity guests, surprises, humor and music. “I love connecting with people, playing games, music and finding ways to help or give back to communities/organizations,” Clarkson said. “Having my own talk show where I get to do all of these things is pretty much a dream job!” Other stations from the NBC Station Group that will air The Kelly Clarkson Show as a lead-in for Ellen (DeGeneres show) include WCAU Philadelphia, KXAS Dallas-Fort Worth, KNTV San Francisco, WRC Washington DC, WTVJ Miami, KNSD San Diego and WVIT Hartford. The new show will also air in Boston on NBC-owned station WBTS in a different slot. The 11 NBC owned stations cover nearly 30% of U.S. households. “We are very excited to have Kelly Clarkson on our air next fall,” said Valari Staab, President, NBCUniversal Owned TV Stations. “She’s genuine, warm, fun and interacts with her fans in a meaningful way. She will be the perfect companion to Ellen, providing an afternoon of great television.”

Bill Cosby Begs Wife: Get Me Out of Prison Before I Die In Here!

As you've likely heard by now, Bill Cosby was sentenced to 3-10 years in prison yesterday after being convicted of sexually assaulting Andrea Constand... The disgraced comedy legend was handcuffed and taken into custody shortly after the judge delivered his sentence. It's been less than 24 hours since he was imprisoned, but already, Cosby's booking photo has become a viral sensation, and reports about his first day behind bars are being gleefully shared on every social media platform. (A report from TMZ that Cosby's first meal will include Jell-O has proven particularly popular.) Naturally, Cosby took advantage of his first opportunity to place a phone call, and insiders confirm that he contacted his wife of 54 years, Camille Cosby. Now, a new report Radar Online claims that Cosby spent most of his time on the phone imploring Camille to do everything in her power to get him out of jail. "They took my cane, tie and shoelaces because they think I will harm myself,” Cosby reportedly told his wife. A witness who listened in on the call, says Cosby complained about the conditions and led his wife to believe he was in immediate physical danger: "He said he had a stale hotdog bun thrown at him and he fell down a few steps because he wasn’t being guided,” the source recalls. “He told Camille, ‘Grab the checkbook and hire anyone and everyone’ who could get him out as soon as possible." Obviously, as a lifelong serial rapist, Cosby is deserving of absolutely zero sympathy. But if the idea of a mostly-blind 81-year-old grandfather living out what might be his final years in state prison strikes you as tragically pathetic, fear not. Life is easier for rich people everywhere -- including prison. Cosby will likely serve his sentence in a relatively cushy facility for "low risk" inmates, and a team of lawyers will descend on the place every time a guard so much as looks at him askance. Fortunately, his treasured "legacy" has been thoroughly decimated, and Cosby's many victims can hopefully rest easier knowing justice has somewhat been served. And with any luck, Camille Cosby will soon see the value in being free of her monstrous husband.

You Have to See Rihanna's 2018 Diamond Ball Lace Catsuit From Every Angle

When you invite Rihanna to an event, you're basically automatically anointing her as "best dressed" before she even sets foot on the red carpet... So imagine what happens when she's the one hosting. You don't have to, because her ensemble for the 2018 Diamond Ball, the annual soirée that benefits her Clara Lionel Foundation, pretty much proves that she'll pull out every possible sartorial stop. The 30-year-old made an entrance at Cipriani Wall Street in New York last night in a jaw-dropping Alexis Mabille Couture look that was part catsuit, part ballgown: The bottom layer, which featured a mock neck and long sleeves, was made of intricate white lace; a billowing skirt was attached to make it seem like a huge piece of white satin had been tied around her waist into an oversize bow that also covered her chest. Truly, it's one of those outfits you need to see (and admire) from every angle—and, luckily, the photographers assembled at the Diamond Ball red carpet did just that.             Rihanna completed the Alexis Mabille Couture look with simple white heels and dramatically luxe diamond earrings and rings from Chopard. She wore her long, dark hair in a deep side part and romantic, tumbling curls and sported her trademark glowy Fenty Face with a subtle smoky eye and a glossy peachy-bronze lip. Thursday night's ensemble was just the cherry on top of an incredible week for Rih. On Wednesday she closed out New York Fashion Week with the first-ever runway show for her lingerie brand, Savage x Fenty. She explained why it was so important for her to highlight women of all skin colors, body types, and backgrounds at the event: "I wanted to include every woman. I wanted every woman on the stage with different energies, different races, body types, different stages in their womanhood, culture," she told Elle. "I wanted women to feel celebrated and that we started this sh*t. We own this. This is our land because really it is. Women are running the world right now and it's too bad for men."

She’s Back! Mariah Carey Announces New Single “GTFO”

(September 13) is going to be a holy day. Mariah Carey, Lamb Whisper and 18-time Billboard Hot 100 chart-topper, is returning with a new single called “GTFO.” The not-so elusive chanteuse shared the cover art on social media this morning and it finds her looking fresh as a newborn baby. The title is widely assumed to be an abbreviation for “Get The Fuck Out,” which hints at a sassy bop like the legendary and deeply misunderstood “I Don’t.” It arrives tomorrow at 8am EST. What can we expect from Mimi’s new music? “I’ve been working on my new album for a while. This is a labor of love and I’m really excited,” the flawless 48-year-old recently told People magazine. “This is me at this moment in my life being able to express myself as a writer and a singer. I’m just really in a good place.” Mariah also describes her new sound as “current” without following “anyone else’s trends.” Sounds good to me. The pop icon emphasized that she is making music that the Lambily wants to hear. “My fans just want to hear me express myself and speak from the heart and sing from the heart,” Mariah maintained (correctly). “Some of the record is lighthearted and fun, and some [songs] I really went deep in terms of the lyrical content. There’s a nice cross-section of things.” Let’s just hope radio plays along. Imagine hearing an actual vocalist on the airwaves! See Mimi’s cover art below.   View this post on Instagram   #GTFO ? 8am ET Tomorrow A post shared by Mariah Carey (@mariahcarey) on Sep 12, 2018 at 4:57am PDT
